Puppet shows a go go in year 4
Today P4 and C4 came together and did some work developing their sketches that they made on their recent trip to the Manchester Museum. Whilst there they had to find 3 objects – one which was valuable, one which was used by someone to work with, and one which was designed to bring luck. They then sketched them. Today the children worked in groups to make up a back story around each object – who owned it, how they had got it, what it was used for and other facts. They then tried hard to work these ideas into some kind of narrative, and made finger puppets using dolly pegs and card.
